Having the choice, I’d suggest opting for whole foods such as fruit, veggies or nuts or even backing/cooking my own nutritious snacks. But cooking your own takes time and also it’s always that easy to get high protein sources, this is where protein bars come in.
It is worth noting that not all bars are equal. And not every label that says ‘natural’ is in fact what it claims to be. One of the bars I had the pleasure of trying were those of Quest Nutrition Protein Bars. Lately there has been a lot of craze on social media and in the fitness community surrounding these bars, so I thought I’d see what all the fuss was about.
